Chao Lu ( Markham, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Home support worker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be honest.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
