Home support worker

LEAH SORIANO ( Burnaby, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Home support worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Flexible hours, , 08:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Work Setting

• Optional live-in accommodation (room and board) is available at no charge. It is not a condition of employment.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
