Abiodun AJAYI, Kehinde Abiodun-Ajayi ( Kanata, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Home child care provider. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must change diapers as required.
• The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
