Vidot Architectural Inc in Anjou, QC is inviting applications for the position of Cabinetmaker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day, Overtime available, , 08:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
• The candidate must trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• The candidate must repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
