Home child care provider

RoSt - Private Household ( Cote-Saint-Luc, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Home child care provider. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
