Hog farm worker

Synergy Swine Ltd. is situated in East Selkirk, MB and is hiring a Hog farm worker to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform weaning tasks.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
