Helper, substation operator

MI-MAINTENANCE INDUSTRIELLE Inc. in Bécancour, QC is seeking a self-motivated Helper, substation operator. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must assist in the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• The candidate must perform routine chemical and physical tests of products.
• The candidate must adjust processing machines and equipment.
• The candidate must test equipment to locate transmission faults.
• The candidate must assist with the installation, assembly, and repairs of equipment.
• The candidate must operate pumping systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in inspection services to examine, assess, and ensure that products, equipment, or operational processes meet established standards and regulations.
• The candidate must work as a self-employed professional to manage business operations, provide services, and maintain client relationships.
