Heavy mobile mining equipment mechanic

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited in Kirkland Lake, ON is inviting applications for the position of Heavy mobile mining equipment mechanic. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• The candidate must perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be accurate.
