Heavy equipment mechanic

Highmark Foundations Ltd. in Warman, SK is inviting applications for the position of Heavy equipment mechanic. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must order parts and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• The candidate must perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• The candidate must service attachments and working tools.
• The candidate must verify and repair emission control systems.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
