Apex Well Servicing in Slave Lake, AB is inviting applications for the position of Heavy-duty equipment mechanic. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• The candidate must order parts and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must service attachments and working tools.
• The candidate must assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
