Brocor Construction Ltd. in Dawson Creek, BC is inviting applications for the position of Heavy-duty equipment mechanic. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• The candidate must have welding experience.
• The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• The candidate must perform repair work on heavy trucks.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
