Job Description
- The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- The candidate must conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock, or disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses.
- The candidate must consider water saturation, light, and temperature when planning for crop growth and development.
- The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
- The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize.
- The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
- The candidate must direct farm feed inventory activities.
- The candidate must direct farm grooming activities.
- The candidate must handle animals.
- The candidate must implement soil fertility programs.
- The candidate must mark livestock as proof of ownership.
- The candidate must monitor the calving process.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
- The candidate must oversee the process of hoeing crops.
- The candidate must be familiar with soil fertility programs.
- The candidate must treat livestock health issues.
- The candidate must perform weeding.
- The candidate must assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
- The candidate must maintain financial and production records.
- The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
- The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.

- The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.

- The candidate must supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
