Heavy construction-equipment operator

Con Site Construction Limited is situated in Rocky View, AB and is hiring a Heavy construction-equipment operator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must operate computer-controlled equipment.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work on roads and bridges to construct, maintain, or repair infrastructure and ensure safety standards.
• The candidate must work in civil construction to build and maintain infrastructure such as roads and bridges.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
