Heating systems technician

Atlantic Chemex in Bible Hill, NS is seeking a self-motivated Heating systems technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
• The candidate must replace faulty components.
• The candidate must diagnose faults using testing devices.
• The candidate must use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
