Job Description

The candidate must accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.
The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
The candidate should work in a hospital or home for the aged; an aged care home, residential care and nursing home all describe the same service.
The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
The candidate must work in a group home to provide care, supervision, and support to residents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
