Oku Izakaya Bar in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Head chef. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
