Hardware assembler

Qualified Metal Fabricators Inc is situated in Etobicoke, ON and is hiring a Hardware assembler to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, Night shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must load, feed or place materials into machines.
• The candidate must operate machines to fabricate parts and products.
• The candidate must screw, clip, glue, bond, weld, or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
