Salon Maxime in Québec, QC is seeking a self-motivated Hairstylist. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise clients on beauty care treatments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
