Job Description
- The candidate must escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips.
- The candidate must plan trips.
- The candidate must operate photographic and video equipment.
- The candidate must operate communication, including emergency, devices.
- The candidate must operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
- The candidate must maintain equipment in proper working order.
- The candidate must provide outdoor, wilderness, and wildlife instruction.
- The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
- The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
- The candidate must utilize microphones or other communication devices to provide directions and pertinent information to visitors.
- The candidate must resolve itinerary and other problems.
- The candidate must provide information on tipping customs, currency exchange rates, metric conversion, and other details.
- The candidate must drive sightseeing or tour vehicles.
- The candidate must describe points of interest, answer questions, and provide information.
- The candidate must confirm transportation and accommodation reservations.
- The candidate must coordinate recreation activities.
- The candidate must assist clients with check-in procedures for accommodation and/or transportation.
- The candidate must coordinate activities with local tour guides or leaders of performance groups.
