Job Description
- The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
- The candidate must assess clientsβ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
- The candidate must supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
- The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
- The candidate must assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.
- The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
- The candidate must accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have good judgement skills.
- The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
- The candidate should be client-focused.
- The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
- The candidate must show initiative.
- The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
