Grounds maintenance worker

Eastern ontario property maintenance solution inc ( Brockville, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Grounds maintenance worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist with landscape constructions.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate must cut grass.
• The candidate must rake and collect refuse.
• The candidate must remove litter and garbage.
• The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
• The candidate must lay sod or seed.
• The candidate must plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
• The candidate must perform tree removal.

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must work in park and recreation sites to maintain facilities, organize programs, and support visitor experiences.
• The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
