Sobeys Capital Incorporée is situated in Val-d'Or, QC and is hiring a Grocery store butcher to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must wrap and package prepared meats.
• The candidate must weigh meats for sale.
• The candidate must cut poultry into parts.
• The candidate must sell meats to customers.
• The candidate must make special sausages.
• The candidate must slice cooked meats.
• The candidate must prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
