Marche Gazaille is situated in Knowlton, QC and is hiring a Grocery store butcher to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, , 08:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat.
• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must wrap and package prepared meats.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.
• The candidate must weigh meats for sale.
• The candidate must cut poultry into parts.
• The candidate must clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• The candidate must sell meats to customers.
• The candidate must cut fish into steaks and fillets.
• The candidate must grind meats.
• The candidate must train meat cutters.
• The candidate must slice cooked meats.
• The candidate must prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
• The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
