Grocery clerk

Lucky Supermarket (South) in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Grocery clerk. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct customers to the location of articles sought.
• The candidate must stock shelves and display areas.
• The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
• The candidate must price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
• The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
