Job Description
- The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- The candidate must weigh meats for sale.
- The candidate must clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
- The candidate must cut fish into steaks and fillets.
- The candidate must prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
- The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Or equivalent experience.
Work Site Environment
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
Work Setting
- The candidate should work in wholesalers, purchase their products from a manufacturer or distributor and then sell them to another retailer to market them to end customers.
