Greenhouse labourer

Albuna Plant Farm in Cottam, ON is seeking a self-motivated Greenhouse labourer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
