Graphic designer

ORONIA ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Graphic designer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products, and television advertising and productions.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communication needs.
• The candidate must produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
• The candidate must work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• The candidate must co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
• The candidate must coordinate sub-contracting activities.
• The candidate must determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
• The candidate must develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives.
• The candidate must establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
• The candidate must prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
• The candidate must use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
• The candidate must perform usability testing.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
