Jafa Signs Ltd. in Penticton, BC is seeking a self-motivated Graphic designer and layout artist. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations.
• The candidate must adapt existing illustrations for new projects.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communication needs.
• The candidate must develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
• The candidate must produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
• The candidate must work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• The candidate must consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
• The candidate must determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
• The candidate must establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
• The candidate must prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
• The candidate must process files and paperwork.
