Glass Project Solutions Ltd. in Westside, BC is seeking a self-motivated Glazier. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine type of glass, frames, and materials required.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, mark, and cut glass.
• The candidate must position and secure panes in frames.
• The candidate must prepare tenders and quotations.
• The candidate must assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
• The candidate must install door, window, and other hardware.
• The candidate must repair glass doors and other glass structures.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
