Super Save Gas #64 in Westside, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cashier. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must perform suggestive selling.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must calculate foreign currency exchange.
• The candidate must monitor all entrances and exits and request proof of payment when necessary.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a gas bar.
• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
