Glazier apprentice

Alicorp inc. in Montréal-Nord, QC is seeking a self-motivated Glazier apprentice. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine type of glass, frames, and materials required.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, mark, and cut glass.
• The candidate must prepare tenders and quotations.
• The candidate must assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
• The candidate must install door, window, and other hardware.
• The candidate must repair glass doors and other glass structures.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
