General labourer - farm

Jim & Yvonne Schunk is situated in Vanessa, ON and is hiring a General labourer - farm to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
