General labourer - farm

Bassi Farms Ltd. ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled General labourer - farm. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
