General labourer - farm

Five Star Farms ( Ruthven, ON) is currently looking for a skilled General labourer - farm. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must cultivate and manage vertical farming systems.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
