Eau Road Farms Ltd. ( Blenheim, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Labourer, field and vegetable crops. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
