Patient service aide

Residence Florentine-Dansereau in Verchères, QC is inviting applications for the position of Patient service aide. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
• The candidate must take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of supplies.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
