Patel Farms Ltd in Norwood, ON is inviting applications for the position of General farm worker - livestock. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must mark livestock as proof of ownership.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must monitor the calving process.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must maintain financial and production records.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must select livestock for sale.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must cut horticultural crops.
• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
