General farm worker - harvesting

GURCHARAN BRAR is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a General farm worker - harvesting to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform seed cutting.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
