Dairy farm worker

Soestdale Holsteins Inc. ( Hensall, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Dairy farm worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor the calving process.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must milk cows.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be reliable.
