General farm worker - harvesting

Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery in Oliver, BC is inviting applications for the position of General farm worker - harvesting. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must mix and prepare soils.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
