General construction supervisor

RiverValley Custom Homes ( Edmonton, AB) is currently looking for a skilled General construction supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must oversee apprenticeship training.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition materials and supplies.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
