Furniture mover

TRANS CANADA MOVERS INC ( Delta, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Furniture mover. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.
