Castool Tooling systems in Newmarket, ON is seeking a self-motivated Furnace loader - primary metal and mineral products processing. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant.
• The candidate must sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials.
• The candidate must load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
