Fruit farm worker

Lasser Farms ( Keremeos, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Fruit farm worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
