Forklift operator

Turning Point Brands Canada in Laval, QC is inviting applications for the position of Forklift operator. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must handle and store hazardous products safely.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
