Forklift operator

Mountain View Packers Ltd in Florenceville-Bristol, NB is inviting applications for the position of Forklift operator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must ship orders.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
• The candidate must store cargo and materials.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
