Forklift mechanic

Insta-Lift ( Mississauga, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Forklift mechanic. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace mechanical system parts.
• The candidate must diagnose and isolate faults on engines.
• The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must document inspections and tests conducted on engines.
• The candidate must estimate repair costs.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance and service.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
• The candidate must repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be honest.
