Forestry worker

SOCIÉTÉ DANSOKO SERVICES INC. ( Saint-Léonard, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Forestry worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, , 07:30 to 15:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate power tools to thin and space trees.
• The candidate must graft trees.
• The candidate must plant seedlings.
• The candidate must cut weeds and undergrowth.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.
• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
