DENNY'S RESTAURANTS in Victoria, BC is inviting applications for the position of Food service supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• The candidate must estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• The candidate must hire food service staff.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• The candidate must supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
