Food service counter attendant

MixMix Bite & Sip Inc. ( Shediac, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Food service counter attendant. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must load buspans and trays as required.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
